The Patchwork Family is designed to help children of all ages understand and negotiate some of the many variations of the all important 'family'. Many children find themselves lacking contact with significant family members for a range of reasons. This book teaches children that it is ok to reach out to 'safe others' and to think a little outside the square when it comes to creating a strong support network.
